The company was created with the mission of providing scientifically proven natural care products to consumers and medical practitioners. We are quality focused in all aspects of our business beginning with the selection and use of the highest grade raw materials to the strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Vision
Our vision is to become a global leader in the natural care dietary supplement and cosmetic markets using the time-honored traditions of Ayurveda, supported by modern scientific principles.

Mission
Our mission is to source and procure, and license or sell proprietary Ayurvedic dietary supplement formulations to the nutraceutical, cosmetic and consumer industries, and proprietary, naturally occurring plant based ingredients to certain selected areas of the food and drug, and dairy and agri industries - all with a focus of bio-availability, bio-diversity and sustainability of humanity and the Earth.

Leadership
Dr. Arun K. Chatterji, PhD., Founder, Chairman and CEO, is a graduate of Iowa State University in Chemical Engineering. He is an inventor with more than 300 U.S. and foreign patents to his credit, and has been a consultant and entrepreneur all of his professional life, focusing on applications in the bio-sciences. He was the first Small Business Innovation Research recipient.

John J. Russell Jr., Senior Scientific Advisor, Senior Consultant to the CEO of Santal Solutions, received a BSc in Chemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology. His career began with Xerox Corp. and he served in Senior Research Chemist positions with several Fortune 500 companies. He held senior marketing positions with Western Union and Honeywell. He holds more than 75 U.S. and foreign patents and has published several journal articles. John served as President before shifting into his current position, and brings a well-rounded background of taking products from lab bench to production.

Dennis Torkko, President, Co-Founder, Treasurer, is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He joined Arthur Andersen (AA) where he was a partner for 22 years before his retirement in 2001. At AA he held various senior management responsibilities, including the Managing Director responsibility for the company's global outsourcing business (grew sales from zero in 1996 to $300 million in 2000). Dennis also was responsible for AA's global Y2K initiative.

In the four years prior to becoming President of Santal Solutions LLC, he held the position of Executive Vice President. He co-founded the company with Dr. Arun K. Chatterji.

Since 2001, Dennis has focused on investing in start-up companies. He is a member of SEI, a Wisconsin based angel investor group.

Barry Ross, Vice President of Business Development, Barry Ross has over 30-years of experience in mass retail merchandising and has had exceptional success building sales organizations, developing broker networks, increasing market penetration, and opening new channels and classes of trade.

Robert D. (Bob) Marshall, Director - Marketing, Customer Care & Logistics, graduated from Ohio University with a BA in Political Science. Bob has held positions as Manager of Customer Care, National Merchandising Manager, Manager of Sales Training, and managed a team responsible for penetrating emerging markets for consumer products, all for a major Fortune 100 company.
