Santal's healthy expansion/Neenah biotech company offers two new supplements
A Neenah biotech company is introducing two new products at a trade show this week even as a dietary supplement makes it onto more store shelves.
Arun Chatterji, chairman and chief executive officer of Santal Solutions, said one of the new lines will focus on immune system boosting and the other on reducing symptoms of stress, the latter marketed as StresSanA.
"Historically the Santal tribes had taken these to cope with stress," Chatterji said. The StresSanA line and ImmunoSanA are being reviewed at the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing Conference in Orlando, Fla. They will go on the market in March. The firm's more established primary product, OmSanA, has gone national and is gaining more of a following.
…Tim Sommers, Santal's regional sales manager, said the company is getting a growing list of commitments from retail stores to try products on their shelves. Festival Foods and Morton Pharmacy are among the Fox Cities retailers that carry the company's products.
In December, the growing company announced the promotion of Dennis Torkko to president of Santal Solutions, succeeding John Russell. The rapid growth of Ayurvedic Life International, Santal Solutions' parent company, created an opportunity for Russell to transition into a senior scientific adviser, the company said.
